WCTC Saturday Night Summer Concert Series

Join Waugh Chapel Towne Centre this Summer for a FREE Saturday Night Concert Series beginning June 1, 2013 through August 31, 2013. Every Saturday night from 6:30pm until 8:00pm, the best local bands will be on stage for a rockin’ night of family fun!

6/15/13   -   Impulse – A group comprised of seasoned musicians who for many years have performed and played professionally with Baltimore’s top bands at the area’s finest venues.  Their playlist is extremely versatile with songs that everyone will know and enjoy.  Instrumentally and vocally they are one of the most entertaining bands in the region.

6/22/13   -   EVERYMAN – EVERYMAN is a group of musicians who intend to take the popular music genre in a new direction. Their sound incorporates elements of rock, jazz, blues, funk, soul, reggae and hip hop.       http://everymanmusicgroup.com/

6/29/13   -   A Classic Case – These guys are rockers. They just happen to love harmony. And what do they want? 7/06/13   -   Legend – A band that had its roots in the premiere rock and roll clubs throughout the 60’s and 70’s, both in Baltimore and New York.  The current line-up came together in January 1970.  They have opened for the Beach Boys, Bread, B. B. King, Stories and Quicksilver Messenger Service.  Reforming last year, the band is booked at various local venues, pleasing old fans while making new ones.  Legend is a group you won’t want to miss!

7/20/13   -   Sons of Pirates – Audiences from all over the Mid Atlantic have been enjoying the hot summer sounds of Sons of Pirates.  Sometimes billed as a Jimmy Buffet tribute band, SOP is much more, playing the beach music of Buffett, Marley, Zak Brown and splashing in classic hits from Eagles, James Taylor and BNL as well as many more. Every show is like a party at the beach.

8/24/13   -   Steve Ports Trio  -  An acoustic oriented rock/pop band comprised of some of the area’s premiere musicians.  Playing songs from Steely Dan to Marvin Gaye and everything in between, you’ll love groovin’ to their sounds!

8/31/13   -   Time Will Tell – Time Will Tell is an infectious band of seasoned musicians performing familiar songs by Classic Rock, Oldies, Pop, and British Invasion artists from the 1950′s to the 1990′s. Outstanding vocal harmonies are a highlight of the group, and the sharing of lead vocals provides tireless entertainment!
