Owings Mills, Md. (December 16, 2019) —Greenberg Gibbons announced today that Orangetheory Fitness, the scientifically backed and fast-growing fitness franchise, is joining Waugh Chapel Towne Centre. The 3,993-square-foot studio will join Burger IM, Nail Trix and Sleep Number, in a newly constructed building facing Route 3, by spring 2020.
Each Orangetheory class consists of a 60-minute, full-body workout that is taught by highly trained coaches. The program is focused around heart-rate based interval training, which helps members elevate their heart rate, resulting in more calories burned. Each studio is equipped with treadmills, water rowing machines, mini bands and TRX® suspension units.
Waugh Chapel Towne Centre offers over 55 national and regional retailers and restaurants and is anchored by Wegmans, Target and Regal Cinemas. Located in West Anne Arundel County, the $275-million, mixed-use project includes 625,000 square feet of retail space and 130,000 square feet of Class A office space. The Centre also includes The Beacon at Waugh Chapel, a 298-unit apartment complex built by Bozzuto Group and The Villas at Waugh Chapel, a community of 40 townhouses built by Sturbridge Homes. Waugh Chapel Towne Centre is located next to the popular Village at Waugh Chapel, which is also owned and managed by Greenberg Gibbons.
